What is ISR?
International Snowmobile Racing, Inc., (ISR), is a service organization established to provide for the needs of individual clubs and organizations that conduct snowmobile races in an organized and safe manner. Our guidelines have been developed over the past thirty-one years working with our member organizations.

International Snowmobile Racing (ISR) – Affiliation Rules & Guidelines
1. Organization Overview
ISR (International Snowmobile Racing, Inc.) is a service-based organization that supports snowmobile race clubs and organizations by providing:

Access to insurance programs

Promote safe, organized, and enjoyable snowmobile racing.
Racing Year:
November 1 – October 31
2. Affiliation Types & Fees
| Affiliation Type | Fee | Benefits |

| Full Affiliate | $700 (1st year) / $600 (renewal) | Up to 10 races per year; full access to rules, tech specs, and voting* |
| Additional Races | +$110 per 10 extra races | |
| One-Event Affiliate | $425 | 1 race per year; access to rules, insurance, and contingency programs |
| Second Race | +$150 | |
| Third Race (becomes Full Affiliate) | +$150 | |
| Radar Run Affiliate | $60 per event | 660 ft (ice/snow) or 500 ft (dirt); access to rules and insurance |
Voting Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for voting privileges, affiliates must:

Have 1+ year as a Full Affiliate

Conduct 2 events in both the prior and upcoming seasons (may be different aspects)

Operate as an independent organization (not owned by another affiliate)

Have delegate attendance at the ISR Rules Meeting (no proxy voting)

Provide written authorization for their delegate to represent and vote at ISR Rules Meetings

Voting rights (for qualified Full Affiliates – see Section 4)

4. Rules Development Process

The Annual ISR Race Rules Meeting includes all affiliates.

Only pre-qualified affiliates may vote.

First-year affiliates are not eligible to vote on rule formation.

Premier events that have existed for 10+ years and run a single historical event per season may vote on rules within their specific discipline.
ISR works closely with snowmobile manufacturers to:

Develop and enforce standardized race rules

Maintain technical specifications
-
Provide insurance coverage for affiliated events
Additional Note
All new Full Affiliates receive access to the last five years of technical specifications and ISR bulletins.
