ISR RACER OF THE YEAR MIKE REMPEL

Mike Rempel #196 – ISR Racer of the Year

Mike has shown hard work, dedication, and true sportsmanship at all our events. He placed first in Factory Mod 2 in which he won a ISR World Series  FXR jacket. He placed second in points for Pro Stock 800, which we consider to be one of the premier classes. Between Pro Stock 800 and Factory Mod 2 he had a total of 509 points for the series and the closest to him was 16 points away. No one else earned as many points as him.

Both Mike and his dad, Gil, show excellent sportsmanship at every event. They spent hours picking rocks out of the clay at Hay Days to help provide a better racing surface for everyone.

This team has showed and continues to show Velocity Race Management Pro’s nothing but respect at each and every event.

These are just some of the examples of why Velocity Race Management Pro’s nominated Mike as Driver of the Year.

We feel that Mike will proudly represent ISR / USAC and Velocity Race Management Pro’s this year.

 Information:

Mike is from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. He started racing around 2000. Since 2004 he has been piloting a 440 MXZX.

He got into racing by his dad grudge racing on the river, then snow drags which quickly led into grass drags and they have never looked back.

They have raced all over Manitoba, Saskatchewan, South Dakota and now Minnesota.

His race team mainly consists of himself, his brother and dad. They do all the work and testing out of Gil’s shop which has a 500’ (100’ clay) test track right there. His main sled has been the stock 600 and he has also raced a number of others – Stock 800, Improved 600, Pro 700 and now the new Pro 800.
